Plagiarism Checker FAQs
Does this plagiarism checker search the internet?
No. It analyses the writing itself for originality signals and explains what it finds. For formal submissions, also use the checker your institution provides.
What counts as plagiarism?
Presenting someone else's words or ideas as your own without credit. Quoting or paraphrasing is fine when you cite the source.
How do I fix flagged passages?
Add a citation if the idea came from a source, or rewrite the passage in your own words, then cite it anyway if the idea isn't yours.
Is it free?
Free accounts include a few checks a month; paid plans include more.
