Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use TextLumi. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

TextLumi provides AI-assisted writing tools. Results are generated by AI models and can contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing anything you use.

Your account

Keep your login details secure and tell us promptly if you think your account has been misused. You must be at least 13 years old to use TextLumi.

Your content

You keep ownership of the text you submit and the results you receive. You give us permission to process your text only to provide the service.

No guarantees on detection tools

The AI Checker and Plagiarism Checker give a probabilistic, explained score. They are not proof, and we do not guarantee how any third-party tool will treat your writing.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed in GBP through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Acceptable use

Use of the service must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend accounts that break it.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
